Atul Vidyalaya is privileged to have been selected by the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) to set up an Atal Tinkering Laboratory (ATL).
The Government of India has set up the AIM at NITI Aayog. AIM is Government of India’s flagship initiative to cultivate an innovative mindset among school students. With a vision to ‘Cultivate one Million children in India as Neoteric Innovators’, AIM is establishing ATLs in schools across India. ATL is a state-of-the-art space established in a school with a goal to foster curiosity and innovation in young minds, between grades 6 to 12 across the country through 21st century tools and technologies such as Internet of Things, 3D printing, rapid prototyping tools, robotics, miniaturised electronics, do-it-yourself kits and many more. The aim of an ATL is to stimulate a problem-solving mindset and inventiveness among students.
